We delayed writing these words, but we needed time to process what happened to us and to regain the strength to look forward again.
Words are not enough to express our gratitude for the immense wave of support we received after these criminal acts that destroyed our boats three times.
For 35 years, my father has built far more than a business: he has created memories, forged bonds, and shared his passion for this sea and these beaches that we love so much. The Popeye and the Saleccia were not just boats; they were part of our soul, our family story and that of Saint-Florent.
When I was a child, I used to go on board with him, and I grew up with the dream of one day taking over this activity that makes our hearts beat. Today, that dream has been hit hard, but it is not dead.
To those who tried to force us to give up by destroying our working tool and 35 years of hard work: you have not won. The Popeye will not close its doors. We will not let acts of cowardice erase decades of passion and dedication.
I am taking over the activity, admittedly in a more modest way, by offering boat trips at sea.
We are starting again, with the same desire to share our love of Corsica, the Mediterranean, Lotu and Saleccia.
